The Sabine County Hospital has been awarded a grant through Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas that will aide in sending their employees to continuing education and certifications. Mr. Mike Gibbs who works for the hospital in the radiology department worked diligently with Mr. Arlie Reynolds of Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas to finalize the grant application and contract. "This grant is a real blessing to our hospital. Now we will have the funds to attend certification in ultra sound areas that will not only enhance our work skills, but save lives in the process." Mr. Gibbs went on to say, "The Workforce staff worked closely with us to obtain this grant and it is something that every small business should take advantage of".

The Jasper Workforce Solutions Business Services Team consists of Arlie Reynolds, Jennifer Gobert and Kim Brown and are encouraging local small businesses to take advantage of training grants the Workforce has to offer.
